CHAPTER 21




"When will you stop thinking about him?" he asked, almost in an angry tone. I just hated it when he taps into my mind during the most inappropriate time.

"Why do you care?" I asked in an angry tone while standing up.

"Because it is a waste of time!" he said, drawing closer to me. I turned my back on him and turned off the Ipod.

"But that still does not make Jesse a depraved person," I shot back.

"I am not saying he is entirely a bad person. It seems that he is acting bad toward you. He has not contacted you since the shooting. Doesn't he care about you?" he said a little calmly.

"Why are you mad at Jesse? What did he do to you?" I said while crossing my arms and turning to face him.

"I am not mad at Jesse. I am mad at you for not realizing that he is not worthy of you. I am also mad at myself for…." He said, leaving his sentence hanging. My back was against the wall as Darius came closer to me. There was a pause from Darius.

"For what?" I asked in a cold tone. Darius slammed both of his hands on the either side of my head. That action stunned me. I have never seen Darius like that.

"Why did I have to meet you in the first place? Why do you have to live in my house? Why do you have to be so interesting, so alluring, so intrig…" but before he could finish his sentence, he leaned in and parted his lips to kiss mine. I briefly felt his tongue in my mouth and then, he let go suddenly. He slowly turned around and walked towards the door.

"Darius," I said softly. He stopped and turned to face me.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You are still in love with Jesse," he said sternly. Then he turned around and walked out the door. I just stood there obliviously. Did I still have feelings for Jesse when I desperately wanted to kiss Darius? I felt so angry with myself that I walked straight to Darius's room. I opened the door without knocking. Darius's head jerked up as I walked towards him. He was sitting on his bed and I stood right in front of him.

"I was once in love with Jesse. But now, now is a totally different story. You have convinced me that I am not in love with him, you convinced me that he is not worthy of me, you convinced me that I have feelings for you!" I said with a frustrated tone. "Are you happy now that you have won?" I asked while placing both my hands on my hips. A half smile crept across his face like he was amused by my confession.

"Are you happy now, Sienna?" he asked casually with a raised eyebrow.

"Darius! I am serious!" I said, exasperated by his little games.

"Answer me, are you happy now?" he asked, leaning forward.

"No! The kiss you gave me should not end like that. It's unforgivable!"

"Well maybe, you should start it this time," he said seductively.

"Gladly!" I said as I place both my hands around his neck and pulled him to kiss me. He stood up and wrapped his magnificent arms around me. I could feel my heart slam against my ribs as his fingers were tangled in my hair.

This boy must have a serious infatuation with my hair. He was kissing me hard, insistent and long but still sweet. I greedily ran my fingers through his mahogany hair, something I have been dying to do for a long time. He then took off my silk robe and I could feel his soft fingers lingering down my neck and chest.

I took off his shirt and was embraced with the most irresistible physique. Brawny shoulders, tanned abs and broad biceps were all over me, driving me crazy with desire. Darius then slowly leaned me towards the bed. The weight of him on top of me made me feel out of breath. But I was enjoying every moment of it. His mouth was on mine again, the heat, the pressure and the feverish feeling drowning me into a world of lust.
